The Plusses in my Life

There is someone in my life.
I find it hard to describe her succinctly.

She is very important to me.
She is everything that I was and want to be and so much more.
I am forever amazed by her.

She is strength.
She is perserverence.
She is tenacity.
She is responsibility.
She is patience.
She is compassion.
She is innocence.
She is playfulness.
She is coy.
She is beauty.
She is silence.
She is expression.
She is cleverness.
She is goodness.
She is complexity.
She is driven.
She is the very essence of heroine.

And...

She is... damaged.
And I cannot repair the damage all by myself.

I love her.
Entirely.

She does not always believe me.
But that's okay.
I know that she trusts me.

I keep her safe.
In my heart.
Always.

One day I will add 'happiness' to the list.
