Stoopid

So, I'm wading through my e-mails. Those of you who knew how crappy I felt prior to my last promotion will remember, I'm sure, my former boss. The best word I can come up with for her is... useless.

I just read an e-mail she sent to the entire department. It's a long, wordy e-mail that has 3 main points.

1. There is a department meeting on xxxx in xxxx meeting room.

There is a schedule drawn up at the beginning of each school year detailing all department meetings, including their date, time, location and who is responsible for chairing the meeting.
In other words, this is useless information.

2. There is a recruitment open house on xxxx at xxxx school.

Before this e-mail I deleted a total of 3 reminder e-mails for this recruitment event that were sent to 1) the department, 2) the entire board office, and 3) all e-mail users.
Useless.

3. There is now an after hours phone number for the building custodians.

The e-mail received immediately before hers was from the supervisor of the board office custodians outlining this exact information. It was distributed to the entire board office. In her e-mail she actually states "As xxxx mentioned in a separate e-mail..."
Useless.

My Conclusion
Wow. Have I ever NOT missed this place.
